Feng and Chen Partners Design was founded in 2001 in Shanghai by Guoqiang Feng and Yan Chen, who had worked together since 1993. Yan Chen has received her Interior Design degree at the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, and was also an exchange artist at Cite Internationale Des Arts of Paris. Guoqiang Feng received his International Exclusive Master in Interior Design, granted by Politecnico di Milano. They believe that "Interior Design is the bonding between multiple things in an uncertain way, which then sublimates to a higher, spiritual resulting product. Including unique feelings, character, humanity, etc." Their past projects cover a range of Boutique Hotels, Restaurants, Club, Private Residence, Real Estate Sample Rooms, etc. Providing the client with services such as Interior Design, Garden Design, Product Design, Furnitures and Display, Design Consultancy, and more.

One Jiyang Lake Villa by Guoqiang Feng & Yan Chen This is a private villa located in Southern China, where the designers takes the Zen Buddhism theory in practice to carry out the design. By abandoning the unnecessary, and the use of natural, intuitive materials and concise design methods, the designers created a simple, quiet and comfortable contemporary oriental living space. The comfortable contemporary oriental living space uses the same simple design language as the high-quality Italian modern furniture for the interior space.

LH Shanghai Office by Guoqiang Feng & Yan Chen LH Shanghai is an office interior created for a newly established investment company. The office covers 328 square meters. The design combines the character of a home with that of a gallery. A central corridor connects the rooms on both sides, and the reception area sits at the center of the plan. Five photographs from the owner's collection are displayed in the space. Simple lamps, plain furniture and woven carpets in cherry blossom colors complete the interior. The aim is a calm, friendly and relaxed workplace rather than a formal one.

Rui Fu Villa by Guoqiang Feng & Yan Chen Rui Fu is an interior design for a four-floor villa located near Beijing, China. The design is inspired by the Zen concepts of visible matter and the invisible spiritual world. Barriers between rooms and floors are opened to improve movement and spatial flow. A corridor links the two ends of the original U-shaped plan and forms a foyer, while a new staircase sits on the diagonal of the square plan. A white tone is used throughout, skirting is removed and wall corners are shaped as curves. The intent is a quiet and comfortable family space.

The Upper East Suite Residential by Guoqiang Feng & Yan Chen The Upper East Suite is a residential interior design set in a 1924 apartment hotel building in the Upper East Side Historic District of New York. The apartment was renovated for a couple who collect 1930s Art Deco lighting and furniture. Full height woodwork, including bookshelves, storage cabinets and wardrobes, was prefabricated in a millwork shop and assembled on site. Textured glass sliding doors and wooden partitions allow rooms to be opened or closed. Mirrored surfaces make the interior feel more open. The plan adds storage and a study within a fixed historic layout.
